Some trails are signposted, but others can be made as you walk along them, just like in life. Not everything has to be written, we can each write our own path.

Walking in nature not only relaxes me, but also allows me to think more clearly, as the energy it gives off is healing, especially for the mind.

As mind and body are related, the fresh air has an effect on both.

Among the trees, in places without people, just me and nature. In such places my senses are sharpened. The scent of pine, the wind blowing through the leaves.

Sounds that in everyday life cannot be heard, the walking of an insect, the running of a squirrel, the rushing of a waterfall or spring. Everything is magnified.

In the big cities, this feeling of depth is lost. This is exactly what I was talking about yesterday with my brother, who also loves nature deeply.

Nature is perfect, it knows how to recompose itself, how to regenerate itself, just like that.

And here I was walking along paths I didn't know, that I hadn't walked before.

Appreciating every sound, every smell and above all seeing, seeing the different shades of green, the variety of trees, bushes, plants and flowers.
Looking over my feet at the path I am walking on.

Looking at the colour of the rocks, some black, some red, some just different shades of brown.

Occasionally I would come across a fallen tree, perhaps a storm, and at other times the remains of what was once a life, just part of the trunk. All equally beautiful.

Enjoying the chirping of birds of different species. The sound of my footsteps on the earth, breaking the leaves that fall at all times of the year.

Maybe it's just that I have a very acute sense of hearing, but I can perceive the smallest details. And not only with that sense, but also with sight.

I have a very good photographic memory, of faces, places, colours and I pay a lot of attention to them. I am a detail-oriented person.

In cities there is so much noise pollution, smoke, lights, that we can't see or hear.

It is in these spaces that I renew my spirit and my body. Could it be an excess of oxygen?

My mind felt happy the more time I spent at that height of the path, a botanical garden that has so many sectors and with different environments.

Some look like jungle, others like forest and others like mountains or hills.

The landscapes you see are part of the hiking I did the second time I went. I like to explore, so I didn't just go along the marked path but along others without losing sight of the horizon.

My sense of direction is very good so I had no problems.

In the shady spots it was delightful to stay there for a while. In the sun, it was not so good, but still enjoyable.

Numerous species of cactus can be found, wonderful. Although many of them I knew and had seen in Argentina, here in Spain I met many new ones.

Besides shade trees and pines that give a lot of oxygen to the environment, this garden is characterized by many citrus trees, some of them big and others small.

Walking always with my backpack, water to hydrate myself because of the heat, admiring each space, stopping many times to look and observe the distant views as well as inside areas hidden in the shadows of the trees.

I love the experience, repeating it often to recharge my energy and listen to nature, which always speaks to us. You just have to learn to understand it.

Undoubtedly I will return again and again to these natural places where the presence of man is almost null and where I can be one with the earth and its beauty.

Hoping you have enjoyed this walk, I send you all a big hello.

See you next time.
Amonet.

All photographs are my own.
