While I was out with my family having lunch yesterday I noticed a mini kiosk on our table. It was something that I had seen before. The Kiosk basically is a gaming/payment device. Nothing new in that regard.
However, I mentioned to my kid the concept of tokenization. What if our gameplay within the kiosk allowed us to earn crypto tokens? And let’s take it a step further. What if those tokens earned would enable us to pay for our lunch?👾
Of course my kid was exciting regarding this concept. The ability to pay for one’s meal from coins earned is something that blockchain makes possible. Aside from all the casino finance nonsense blockchain’s core competency is the ability to bridge intangibles into the real world. And it is this vision that will change the world.
Blockchain is more about making what is considered unreal real. Or better yet what is currently virtual reflective in value within our real life construct. And if you look closely much of what was created with Bitcoin had many gaming undertones. This is not by accident.
Although the concept of crypto mining used to be for hobbyists now it has become big business for some. However, all hope is not lost for the little guy. Tokenization and gaming are what will ultimately lead mom and the kids on to the multiple chains. And using your time or labor for gaming will bring value to many networks.
Much of what is on Ethereum is frankly one giant shit storm. Sky high fees and over priced gaming assets are just of few of my complaints. And frankly much of this is caused by the many casino starved speculators looking to get rich. This is truthfully unsustainable.
In order for this whole vision to work everyone should have equal access. And that includes not being priced out for any virtual asset. Since blockchain is global not everyone currently has the same purchasing power. Basically anyone anywhere should be able to start from zero and level up.😝
Of course there will always be whales. And this is a good thing. Many times they get a bad rep. Yet, people need to be aware that for many projects it is the whales that keep the lights on.
For those of us still stuck in the past there is still time to learn. From time to time you get some people still stuck in the eighties. Or many will spout out at the mouth about something they have little understanding of. My suggestion is to read first before speaking.
Lastly, the concept of labor as we all know is on it’s way out. And frankly it couldn’t come any sooner. However, we as a community will need to bridge those who are unskilled. Soon many wether skilled or not will use their labor in gaming for tokens. 💰
This concept may be frowned upon by many in society. Some may not get it entirely. However, it is a trend that like or not will be upon us. I welcome this trend with open arms.
It will free many from jobs they hate. Gaming will also give people and families the opportunity to build bonds solidifying the family unit. This will also give many more leisure time and income to improve oneself. It could also alleviate the excess burden upon the state.
I currently have many ideas concerning this topic. But I will save this for another day. My hope is that everyone sees beyond the scarcity illusion. There is a better way.
