Today was the day we got our first snow this winter. Though normally it is cold by this time of year it usually waits a bit longer before snowing. I would like to share with you all a look at the snow in my yard this snowy day.
I have also decided to work on a new woodburning piece. Today I was inspired by the snow for this woodburning project. To me, it is a tree surrounded by snow but it is up to interpretation from anyone. I have taken pictures of the entire process for the first time. please tell me whether you think it is for better or worse.
The first stage is a pencil sketch on the wood I have decided to use.
then i start to fill it in.
I then fill in all of the rest. In the last picture, there is a slight change to the right near the bottom of the burnt section. this is where I have decided to work on somewhat of a signature. this was not in the pencil sketch because it is based on the tip for the wood burner. Any suggestions and tips are appreciated.
