Taking up cross stitch embroidery again

Greetings and blessings, my dear needle friends. I hope you are doing very well with health and wellness. I wish with all my heart that this is a week full of inspiration, creativity and many projects.

This needle Monday I want to share with you several little things. First, the knitting of the scarf with two needles is progressing, although slowly, it is taking shape little by little because I knit a few rounds every day. The other project I mentioned, the sweater for my daughter, which I showed you in a previous post, I finished the weekend before last. I had planned to share it today, but we went through a painful family situation this weekend and I was unable to take the photos of my daughter wearing it.

I am very happy and satisfied with the result and I will show it to you as soon as I can.

Este lunes de agujas quiero compartir con ustedes varias cositas. Primero que el tejido de la bufanda con dos agujas va avanzando, aunque lento, va tomando forma poco a poco porque tejo algunas vueltas todos los días. El otro proyecto que les mencioné, el suéter para mi hija, y que les mostré en una publicación anterior, lo terminé el fin de semana antepasado. Tenía pensado compartirlo hoy, pero este fin de semana atravesamos una dolorosa situación familiar y no pude tomar las fotos de mi hija luciéndolo.

Estoy muy contenta y satisfecha con el resultado y en cuanto pueda se los mostraré.

Today I want to tell you that I have decided to take a break from crocheting to rest my hands a little after having knitted so many grannys, and to take up another of my passions: embroidery. This time, I will embark on a cross stitch project, a technique I haven't practiced for a long time. I feel like I'm starting all over again, as a beginner, but that only makes it more exciting.

I found this cross stitch embroidery kit that comes with everything I need to stitch a beautiful flower on fabric, and I'm excited to see how each stitch will shape the design and, above all, to enjoy the process calmly and patiently.

When I finish this embroidery, I will return to crochet with a new purpose: to knit myself a sweater. It will be a special project, made to my specifications and with the love I always put into each creation. Of course, I will be sharing my progress with you, my dear friends of the needles.

Hoy quiero contarles que he decidido hacer una pausa en el tejido a crochet para descansar un poco mis manos después de haber tejido tantos grannys, y retomar otra de mis pasiones: el bordado. Esta vez, me embarcaré en un proyecto en punto de cruz, una técnica que no practico desde hace mucho tiempo. Siento que estoy empezando de nuevo, como una principiante, pero eso solo hace que sea más emocionante.

Encontré este kit de bordado en punto de cruz que trae todo lo necesario para plasmar una hermosa flor sobre la tela, y me emociona ver cómo cada puntada irá dando forma al diseño y, sobre todo, disfrutar el proceso con calma y paciencia.

Cuando termine este bordado, volveré al crochet con un nuevo propósito: tejerme un suéter. Será un proyecto especial, hecho a mi medida y con el cariño que siempre pongo en cada creación. Por supuesto, estaré compartiendo cada avance con ustedes, mis queridas amigas de las agujas.
