English Version

Hello dear friends of #Catarsis, I hope you are excellent. Today I want to share a little of the relapse I had with insomnia. I'm not sure how it's treated medically. However, I have noticed that many times, when my sleep is regulated or altered, sometimes I do notice the reason. But in other occasions I don't.

In the last few days I revived the anxiety, which had been mainly in silence due to the occupations that have demanded a lot of time from me. And that has helped me to sleep at night. But this last week I was very calm and actually spent several days alone. So... the anxiety came back and with it the insomnia.

I have a new best friend: Melatonin. It's incredible how these gummies have helped me. I'm a little rebellious and it's not that I always take them. Only in cases where I know I won't be able to sleep. Because they give me 1, 2, 3... and so on until I decide: Yes, I need them! No, this is clearly not a post to talk to you about medication or even advice. It is my experience with this medication.

What I'm getting at is that having the lightness of sleep is a double-edged sword. I can stay down some days, just because. And others it's a war to sleep. Does it happen to you? In addition to the list of chores that want to parade like sheep: "You did this, and this other one not" So the hours go by...

THE SOLUTION?

I know that one of my main triggers is the overstimulation with the phone, because there are days when work not only requires me to be with the phone but also when I wake up I use it and when I sleep too. My brain understands that I am active and it is triggered in me energy even though I am tired. In addition to the typical phrase "one more video" appearing. I don't let go of the phone and I've never fallen asleep with it on top of me.

I must return to using new sleep hygiene habits. In fact, I was doing it at the beginning of the year and it went great. This was to turn the phone off and keep it very far from me. I would like to take it to the other extreme like taking it out of the room at least during the days when I am accompanied. I've heard it as advice. But I don't know rick, it gives me anxiety to know it's outside. I'm not ruling it out. I just know that I must pay attention to sleep, habits and routines to sleep again.

I have been consuming too many shorts on the web2, too much information before bed that actually worsens the situation. So if you have also fought, or fight with insomnia, leave me a comment with your experience. I will be waiting for you with pleasure. For my part I tell you, technology is cool but consuming so much content is very aggressive with our brain. We must take the time to reflect on it.
