Hello everyone, this is my post for the Splinterlands Weekly Challenge.
The topic of the week is the Armored Up ruleset, let's get into it:
| Armored Up: |

| All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor Stat. |

This battle the following rulesets are active:
| Only Monsters with Ranged attack may be used in battles. | All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor Stat. |
Team Line- up
| Summoner | Ability | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| +1Speed and Return Fire | Ilthain. Since the Going the Distance ruleset is active, this summoner who gives Return Fire ability to all my monsters that will return reduced damage back to the ranged attackers, will be a great help. |
| Monsters: | Abilities: | |
|---|---|---|
| Retaliate | War Chaang, it has two types of attack (Melee and Ranged), negative abilities for ranged monsters will not affect it as it will only deal melee damage because it is on the front line. | |
| Flying | Thunderbird, this bird only does 1 damage but has decent health(4), it also has Flying ability to make enemies miss some attacks if they don't fly. | |
| Tank Heal | Venari Crystalsmith, this tank healer will keep my frontline monsters from getting out of battle too early by healing them. | |
| None | Peacebringer. It doesn't have any abilities, but it's still a great card with good stats, it only costs 4 mana, does 3 damage, and has 5 health. | |
| Blast | Prismologist, in last position, one of my favorite ranged monsters, because it not only does 3 damage, it has the Blast ability that deals damage to adjacent monsters this card attacks. |
Battlefield
Before the battle, my monsters get +1 Speed and the Return Fire ability thanks to Ilthain.
Enemy summoner Quix the Devious, reduces my speed and the damage of my ranged monsters -1.
Enemy monsters gain +2 armor thanks to Ravenhood Warden's Protect ability.
Round 1
-Frontline monsters were damaged, on my side my elephant takes 4 damage. On the opponent's side, Queen of Crows takes 5 damage.
-Thunderbird loses his armor because Runic Skyclaw attacked it.
Round 2
-In the middle of the battle, Peacebringer eliminates Queen of Crows.
-War Chaang still has 5 HP, because Venari Crystalsmith heals it.
-Thunderbird was nearly killed by Skyclaw's attack.
Round 3
-All remaining enemy monsters that can attack only deal 3 damage to my War Elephant, but will never kill it because my Venari Crystalsmith heals it for 3 health.
Round 4
-Prismologist destroys Runic Skyclaw, and the Ravenhood Warden's armor due to the Blast ability.
Round 5
-Starting the round, War Chaang attacks and kills Ravenhood Warden.
-Peacebringer destroys Xenith Archer.
-Finally Prismologist with the last attack ends the battle eliminating Weirding Warrior.

Conclusion:
Even though my opponent reduced the damage of Peacebringer and Prismologist due to Quix's ability, and their monsters that started the battle with +4 armor due to the Armored Up ruleset and Ravenhood Warden Protect ability, my monsters were still able to destroy the enemy monsters.
The return fire ability that Ilthain gives my monsters was a big help.
Venari Crystalsmith was crucial in regenerating my elephant who survived the battle.
