As a long-term crypto investor as individual, I am not only holding Hive on hand even though Hive got more than 55% in my crypto portfolio, Atom has got nearly 38% in my crypto portfolio, too.

I tryna hold Atom for the airdrop back in late 2021 at first place, but I notice that most of the airdrop tokens didn’t have too much value, but it’s still not bad for me to hold a token for a long term meanwhile I can get about 19% APY. I can claim the stake reward from Atom then cash out for fiat or swap into other tokens to enlarge or diversify my portfolio.

Thus, I started ignore the airdrop news of the Cosmos chain, simply focus on the stake reward to do a small amount trade for short term or fiat for life. But the Celestia just made me can’t ignore the airdrop as it really made too much noise.

While I was on my business trip in the New York, I hardly checked message on any group on whatsapp, discord, wechat, etc. but some of my friends were nice enough to remind me to check if I am eligible to claim the TIA airdrop, yeah they knew I mainly focus on holding Hive and Atom, and noticed I was too busy while I was outside for business trip.

Thank god I still got some good and nice friends, I went check and found that at the beginning I was eligible to claim approximately 74 TIA token, then I put that thing aside and kept busy on my work in real life for couple of weeks.

Early last week, someone else told me that ended up everyone will have nearly double amount of the TIA airdrop as too many people didn’t claim that, it’s good to me to get additional airdrop token for sure. But I had no idea when will the Celestia main-net online then I didn’t think about it again (actually people found that probably it would be 31 Oct but I didn’t take due diligence upon that issue)

Until 30 Oct, everyone kept their eyes on the Celestia as the main-net launch schedule was confirmed. Then I saw all the crypto related groups were super busy / noise, many group got hundreds + message while I was just away for 30 mins !

Heard that some TIA fetish guys willing to pay US$4/5/6/7/8 for TIA in OTC, I didn’t figure out how could they do that, but I didn’t take it too serious anyway.

When the TIA went online for trading at Binance, everyone kept their eyes on the TIA prices, somebody used to sleep early but that night they still up, staring at the screen on the TIA price.

Finally the TIA prices didn’t hit more than US$3 at Binance, I simply ignore the other small exchange as I get used to use Binance or HTX to deal only. Well, Celestia made super big noise once it goes online, but will their token price give us more and more surprise in the future? Who knows?

I sold nearly 75% of the TIA token from the airdrop and still holding the rest of 25% on hand, let’s see if it’s going to bring me unexpected, significant giant gain in the next weeks / months.
