Good afternoon everyone. My name is Sister Hope Atuma and am doing this post to share my lessons from the mass indoctrination day 12. This post is done on the 28/7/22.
Naturally the desires of a man are usually earthly based ie toward his career, professions, acquire houses and properties and dream cars . without the impact of God's word, the human nature always think and reason things that are worldly ie worldly achievements. According to the Bible book of Philip. 2:13, man only come to do good things through God's love and grace. God is the one that works in us and make us to desire do good things and desire to know Him.
In the book of Act17: 26-28 God made man to do well on Earth to seek Him therefore, our obligation on Earth is for us to seek God. If any one seeks God, such one will find Him because God is not far from those that truly seek Him and far from those that do not seek Him. The devil is always against such desires of a Man to seek God and so the devil will do anything to prevent or kill that desire of a man seeking to know the ways of God. The devil can even go through anyone close to us to destroy such desires and in this case, it is left for us to make a decision and stand by the choice we so desire.
In course of the teaching,we also learnt about the four kinds of hearts that receives God's word and how each react to the Word of God. In the Bible book of Matthew13: 2-8, which talks about the parable of the sower, who sow seeds that fall on four different places ; some seeds fall by the roadside, some on a rocky place , some on thorns and some on a good ground. These are referred to as the different kinds of the hearts of men that receives God's Word, of which only one is the heart that allows the Word of God to grow well in it, that is the seeds that falls on the good ground. The seeds is the Word of God which is supposed to grow in a man's heart and practice it in its daily life.
In the parable the seeds that fall on the road side is liking unto a man's heart that receives the Word of God, but the devil (which is referred as the birds) comes and steal out of the seeds (God's Words) in the book of 1 Peter 5:8. and when he succeed, that heart goes back to zero level of the Word of God. Again the rocking ground, is liking unto the heart of a man the will not ever allow God's Word to grow in him and is not yet ready to keep the seed in his heart and so the seed may be destroyed by rain or flood which is the devil, the same with the seeds that falls on a thorny ground as in the book of Luke8:11 - 14 and the seeds that falls on the good ground which is liking unto the heart of a man that receives God's Word (seeds) with honesty, truely believes it and put it into partice in his daily life as said in the book of Luke 8:15, such heart brings forth fruits with patience.
According to 1 Timothy 2:4, God wants all men to be saved, no matter what heart a man has, God can replace any man's heart just as the Medical doctor do and that is why in the Bible book of Ezekiel 36:26 - 28, God is even going to be giving some a new heart because in the body of Christ (Church) some heart may not be completely good, God will replace such heart among the body of Christ in as much as such hearts are willing to hear and study the Word of God which is able to heal and amend. Example of such heart that God healed and amend was Apostle Paul who was the Chief of sinners but yet God was able to work on him and was changed by God in the Bible book of 1 Timothy 1 : 13 - 16.
