End Today by Juxta

@Poeticsnake asked if anyone would like to try and put her emotional poem about anxiety to music. I decided to give it a go.

LYRICS

Thoughts are wrestling in my shattered mind,
The deeper I dig the more hatefulness I find.
The cement in my wounds is turning hard,
I'm rebuilding, searching for a new start.

But the anger inside me lingers and feeds my restless soul.
Preparing, skipping emotions, it feels like I am losing control.

You took from me, the bittersweet substance of my life.
Replaced my love with hate, my pride changed to strife.

Tell me, what is wrong with the anger you now read in my eyes?
Tell me, what is wrong if one of us here now painfully dies?

I see you, in the light of the passing day.
I follow your rotten footsteps on my way.
I see you, in the darkness of the ice-cold night.
I follow your scent with blissful delight.

The battle of good and wrong no longer exists in my hunter's heart.

This ends today, this is where our ways shall, in every way, part.
The time has come, for me to finally step up and scream.
To fight for what is mine, what you stole from me, my dream.

Say your good bye's, rest forever in the back of my head.
No more fear, no more pain, not one more tear shall be shed.
Tonight you will go down, tonight I will put you to rest.

Goodbye Anxiety, I am no longer deeply impressed!
