Let's start from my daily spin. It was my 89th day so I could say that I'm veteran. I play daily in the Splinterlands!
What I can get from daily spin?!
PIT CHALLENGE
So here we go again versus HARD LEVEL BOSS!
You can now meet this boy. He looks so dangerous. He have 4 abilities which is really unexpected for me. BIG BOY wants to fight versus me. I can't to be scary I need to face him. I know it gonna be super hard to win versus him but what I can do? I'm not type of person which run away or click surrender button. For me those both things not exist! So this is my new challenge and I gonna try my best to kill this boss!
9 attack damage is a lot compared that with trample ability cmon it can't be worse. He also have blind so my monsters have like 25% chances for miss or something like that. So this is really powerful boss. I'm sure that RNG will play big role versus him. It depends if my monsters will miss a lot? If my monsters get trampled? Ohh boy that could destroy my team!
So when I first saw these abilities my first thought was ok I don't wanna be trampled. I don't wanna be dish for him. So I decided to first pick life archon with additional armor. Secondly tank with shield which reduce his damage and last thing I decided to play with taunt.
Later you will see that my last thought was not the best choice because when I play versus boss which is alone, he not have any other cards by his side it means he will attack from my first position tank and he can't attack my last position melee tank with taunt. This was a disaster for me. Because I didn't had enough damage for sure because my useless tank was at last position only because to avoid being trampled but boss can't attack him he only can attack him as last monster so yeah that was really useless. :D
9 damage means that he gonna hit hard for 5 my monster first tank with shield. So healing him will be to weak. This tank for 7 mana have just too low hp to be healed enough. Remember in the Splinterlands there is tank heal ability which heal for 1/3 of tank hp so even with heal that not help at all. So the only way to win versus this boss was to land as many hits as possible and get a lot of damage and pray to God to not get trampled by this final boss.
Battle vs Boss
As expected his 4 abilities were too powerful. My monsters missed a lot of attacks. Boss trampled me and my taunt was useless. So how it ended? With defeat of course haha :D
I skiped battle to last round where only my tank with taunt is on the battlefield with boss. As you can see boss have still half hp left so yeah I had no chance in this battle. But I learn from my mistakes and I hope that in the future I will be able to play better without taunt at last position! :D
