She appears bright,
Like a shining light,
Seen from a mile.
She is slight,
Yet I sense her might,
I see her smile.
A warmth in my heart
Pulls me toward,
Beautiful art.
We close the gap,
One step at a time.
Footsteps in rhyme.
A sparkle in her eye,
I wonder why.
A warrior, I spy.
A gentleness too,
I feel you,
Butterfly.
Butterfly warrior,
Step closer to me.
We can swim in the sea.
The waves appear big,
Yet surfing in rhyme,
Takes us out of time.
Imagine it now,
How it will be,
Side by side in harmony.
We nurture the garden,
We sing with the plants,
Our Uncles and Aunts.
Feeding each other,
Like sister & brother,
Food for the soul.
Father Son shines above,
Mother moon from below,
Together we grow.
And we know
The way to go,
Feeling light.
