Hello all,
Trying out this Steemit board challenge, but I gotta say I do not have any active carnivals happening right now, nor do I know any that I can relate to the famous Brazilian carnival, or Mardi Gras that will be happening real soon, or the Lunar festival in China to celebrate the Chinese New Year (oink oink).
Heck, I do not like large crowds, but I can imagine they will be fun for those that get into those huge party scenes. The closest ones I have done are like First Friday city events where vendors would sell their goods like crafted items and cook food. Would they could as carnivals? Maybe more like festivals. When I think carnivals; I think circuses and state parks at a larger scale.
For me, if I went to those larger, famous carnivals or festivals I'd get overwhelmed. Quickly. Like panic mode, but I have to imagine these would be fun to do. Is it just FOMO? For me, not really, I had fun with the smaller featives. My advice for those that suffer from getting claustrophobic with people: start small. Go to the state parks and small city or town events then eventually go up the ranks till you get more comfortable. Otherwise, if you are still not having fun, then do not let FOMO get to you.
And for those that are going to the carnivals; remember, have fun but stay safe!
