I've had a rather busy weekend celebrating my mom's birthday and also celebrating a friend's birthday. So I haven't been playing much Pokémon GO over the weekend. I did complete at least one Field Research Task both days though. With close attention to make sure I didn't complete one until after 22pm on September 1. So that I could get my first Entei, and should be able to get 5 Entei this month as mentioned in my blog post about my last Raikou for August.
Here we have Entei, standing tall and majestic! It's not my first encounter with Entei, but my 3rd. As I was able to win two Entei Raids back when they were available, just couldn't capture it then. This one from the Research Breakthrough reward does not run away and you don't have a limited amount of Premier Balls like you do in a Raid. So I would surely be able to catch it as I still have plenty of Ultra Balls.
It took me about 5 or 6 Ultra Balls to catch this Entei, which is an okay ratio.
Finally, almost a year after my first Entei Raids I have been able to now register it in my Pokédex. Now I have the legendary dog trio completed at last! Really happy that I have this one as well now! =D
The silhouette for Blissey is still grey as I indeed don't have one yet. My highest Chansey so far is 84% IV so I haven't felt like evolving it yet. One day I might get a really good one!
Finishing off with a screenshot of this majestic Entei in its post capture screen. It has either an IV of 82% or 84% which isn't bad at all for my first Entei. Let's see what the other 4 Entei that I should be able to catch this month will be like.
Are you looking forward to catching Entei this month?
