I always try to find funny and catchy graphics. Why? I think people are more likely to read something that is not just all black on white text. It's stuffy and downright boring at times. I also believe, much like this author does, and you can read their reasonings here
There are so many choices. Freepik, pngtree,pixabay, etc. Most of these sites offer free to use graphics as long as you provide attribution on your blog or website, just add a simple line of code.
These are great for people like me that cannot draw a straight line with a ruler. However, if you are more artistically inclined, there is Canva.com You can use their pre-made templates or go off on your own. There are a lot of options for both free and paid users.

I cannot stress this enough. Don't pass off other people's work as your own. Always credit whenever you use art or graphics someone else created. If you really like it, send them a small donation. Positive karma and all that.
Of course, you can always upload that you own as well. If the image is too large, you can use a free service like this
The original file was much larger from my camera. I always shoot in the highest resolution possible. Sure, the files are larger. However, it's easier to shrink than to add to a photo.
Try adding some cool artwork to your posts. Credit the creators and keep on stackin!
