What do I love about
Where do I start? Is it the people? Sure! They are all friendly and encouraging. Quick to engage and like or comment on posts, the not so terrible learning curve. If you've spent more than five minutes on any social media post, you got this. A little digging around and you can figure out how to do what you want to.
That brings up my next point. Jayson He's the dude. Working in front of and behind the scenes. I had a question, he answered it quickly. I had an issue, he answered that too. Gotta love support like that. I think the whole team is solid. They are constantly working to improve things for us.
Compensation: Getting paid for tasks? Win/win. It promotes activity and engagement. I often marvel at people that are locked into that face thing or the insta thing. Sure, it's fun and easy and comfortable. At one time, it was what all the cool kids were doing. Or people that think they're the cool kids. I hate to break it to them. All the cool kids have moved on and left their old toys behind for them to play with. We took it as far as we could, bent, and twisted the toys into all the things we could. The problem with that is, eventually, they stop being useful.
So we go off in search of new things to play with and explore. Enter sites like Torum and Hive.
Two things that are wide open to exploration and manipulating. A member of the Torum team joined our HiveHustlers community. Unlike a lot of people saying "What can this do for me"? He instead asked, "how can we work together and be mutually beneficial"? Try getting a big name like the FB guys to worry about you being successful. Go ahead, we'll wait, but not idly. We'll keep going and growing.
I don't see this and Hive having to be competitors. There is plenty of room for both. If one serves to bring new people into both, then why not encourage that? People over there have never heard of Hive and vice-versa. I am fortunate enough to have awesome people in my circle. They are never afraid and always willing to explore new avenues. Let's be honest here; if you're not making money with the social things you do, what are you accomplishing?
