Prior to visiting the Redwood Forest I thought it would be cool to see some huge trees. However, once I got there it was the sense of reverence, and peace in the forest that surprised me and blew me away. I am not a “feel-ly” person so having an experience like this was unusual. I was completely taken by surprise. Our family had a lot of fun and ended up hiking around 6 miles in the Redwood Forest.
