We have made some changes to the Pub and decided to deprecate the initial plans available for consultation. These are still imprinted on the way the Pub works, but are not necessarily valid from this end forward. Some of the features will still be honoured, more details are below.

The main reason is the interpretation of what worked and what did not, in cumulative with how much time is required to keep those ideals in constant motion. Teaching and building is something usually challenging and prone to many mistakes, failures and disappointments. But on the other end, there are lots of lessons learned, and THAT motivation was always why the main role of the Pub was not to be driven by investment. Yes, some $$$ does help too to run some things, but the intent was to explore an easy cheap way without too much $$$ commitment.

What happens to the current funds given to the Pub?

Those will be kept in the Pub and as previously said, not withdrawn as long they are to distribute towards the community participating in the gatherings or as final dissolution of the Pub (in case that happens).

They can be either initially used to curate or make use of other Hive-Engine curation community's actions. Rest assured, even if not many, we will honour them and keep as much as possible decentralization as a priority towards the ones that want to learn and bring new faces to HIVE.

What will continue despite these changes?

There are a couple of things that will be maintained separately (because they are experiments) and therefore will continue working per the management of @forykw:

• The Pub DLUX Shared Node (no end date and depends on owners, at any time anyone can quit, note that there is some time for tokens to unstake). - Withdrawn/Finished
• The current holders of the [NFT] ATX 🍺 Pub VIP Missile will continue to be "special accounts" to the Pub and honoured towards current and future initiatives. The remaining ones will continue on the market (please mind the prices) until they are all out. Although they are most likely always going to pay back more than they cost, please don't take this NFT as an investment opportunity. Instead, see this as a way for you to show appreciation for the effort being made.
• The drawn NFTs/pictures representing the Pub's face for many gatherings will also have special meaning to the Pub and will also be considered in future initiatives.

These accounts will be set as default 5% beneficiaries for now on any following Pub posts. But this can change at any time. - Withdrawn

Having that said, @forykw has announced the beginning of the ATX distribution. No white paper, no disclosure... no way to know the outcome yet at the beginning of this new process. All you are allowed to know is the already known max supply and current issuing by the token creation account @atexoras.

The decision on this is simply because the aim is not focused towards investment for now, but instead on making new users/learners, decentralising the token and helping as many as possible people have fun on this blockchain!

And those are the legendary days when any user becomes a superhero of the new HIVE future... it's important to start thinking about how to get there.

The Pub will evolve into the Pubs Community account where you will be able to create posts about any content you wish/like (not just about Pubs). These will be manually curated by the Pub account and others. Then each month, a reward (according to below) in ATX tokens will be issued to those selected posts where the curation period has finished within that month:

• 50 ATX tokens to the post with the highest HIVE voted value
• 10 ATX tokens to 3 other random posts
• Each account is only eligible once per month (to any of the 4 above possibilities)
• Muted posts that don't respect the rules will not be eligible

Rules

• Set a minimum beneficiary of 1% to the Pub account (@atexoras.pub)
• Cross-posting is accepted (as long it has the 1% beneficiary to the Pub)
• No reports-type posts (personal analysis is OK though)
• No pornography, hateful, paedophile, etc kind of posts

Disclaimer: We have been excusing some users from setting the beneficiaries reward, but from now on, if that happens again, we will only provide ONE exception and award instead 1 ATX token (instead of 10 ATX). Afterwards, the post will not be eligible to be selected and can be muted if we identify abuse.

The regular gatherings posts will cease for now with its fortnightly schedule (yes, yes, we know... boooo 😤 bbooooo) but there will be occasional ones to show either how things are going with the Pub account, or any other initiatives, announcements, giveaways in the working.

Mainly, we are trying to make the Pub efforts more decentralized and still be around with a place where everyone can share, engage, learn, ask questions, get free tokens, etc...

After this post, changes in the Pub community will reflect what has been said here. We will also update some stuff on Discord and update the title of the Live Scratch Paper to deprecated.

It's not over... we are just adapting.
