In reflection of what our Lord taught His disciples on Self Denial, I realized that discipleship is very costly. According to Jesus Christ, whoever wants to be His disciple must deny himself, take up his cross and follow Him. Looking at it, it is more deeper than proposal, it is a command and injunction everyone must adhere to. Therefore, it is operative for every believer to consider self-denial a priority if he /she should be taken serious in the spiritual work or service.
