I had a class of discipleship today. We spent time defining who's a disciple and disciples making process. The class was quite lively. I encouraged them to live in obedience to sharing the knowledge they got during training. As a matter of fact, knowledge should not leave obedience and sharing behind. The three should be at the same level if we're to be the true disciples. The Church was further defined to be the body of the called out people into the body of Christ as against the building, programs, budgets and staff. These are the things people spend huge resources and convinced people to believe as church. But the church is where people show love to God, love people and make disciples with Christ as King sits at the center. At the training we also learnt the art of listening to God if we're to be effective in our relationship with Him. The participants promised to live out what they were taught. It was an amazing time as they wondered why such information was not made known to them before. However, it was appropriate moment for all to benefit with information that would build the body of Christ.
Pray for the sustenance of the zeal and the transfer of the DNA to other disciples.
