Cross cultural ministry continues today. As I traverse the interior places, meeting different people's groups, lot of experiences, challenges and shocks come to fore. Then I asked myself what could be the basis need of the people. Of salvation is the paramount, but socially, lot of people and places still lagged behind social development and political rebirth. Therefore, I presented Christ as a springboard to civilization and catalyst to foster both spiritual and economic development and growth. The idea however, was welcome by various village heads, who prayed our continued stay with them. They accepted our messages of salvation which was considered a panacea to mirage social vices such as drugs addiction, occultism, drunkenness, spiritism and idolatry. The people worship graven images carved from stones and woods. Some practice witchcraftcy and sorcery. But when the Gospel struck some people were willing to surrender to place Christ above all. I am pleased to be an instrument of the epoch of spiritual rebirth in this community. Let's keep upholding them in prayers.
