Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest. This time I chose to draw “Tarsa”.
Having seen everyone do their best in the contest, I decided to do the same and tried taking my entry to next level by giving it more details and making it look more realistic. Hope you also like it~
If you look at the hair progress you may wonder why I colored it yellow at first when it was supposed to be red. That's because drawing yellow lines on top of red ones is not possible. And I needed that color to draw the highlights so first I had to color the paper yellow and then added red on top of it. It makes it so that now just by scratching the paper with a paper cutter I can bring out the yellow highlights ^^ If you zoom in you can notice that it's how I drew her dress too.
