A Shadow'd Whisper

I won't say a word to you,
I won't know your name.
Neither will your face resurface in my mind.

You indeed are mere hope,
some wanted future that can never be,
but this time,
as you walk away,
I take no blame.

Delicate

Like some delicate blossom
you float by gently,
but I catch you not;
for fear that my grasp be
less subtle than the earth's;
always to admire,
never to obtain.
