For 3 years in a row, I have been keeping my personal list of books I have read. It started with a corporate competition at the firm where I have been working for the last 4 years. Having won this competition 2 times in a row, I decided to make fixation the books I read my rule.
It is necessary not so much to brag, but in order to remember what I have already read, to take notes about the books I have read and just make sure that I do not stop reading.
I have read 21 books this year, just like last year, but in 2019 there were 26 of them.
Of course, among the books I read there were those that are not very pleasant to remember, but there were also those that I would like to mention and recommend to everyone to read:
"Hey! Listen!: A journey through the golden era of video games" by Steve McNeil
"Almost Human The Astonishing Tale of Homo naledi and the Discovery That Changed Our Human Story" by Lee Berger & John Hawks
"ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE. PETER JACKSON & THE MAKING OF MIDDLE-EARTH" by Ian Nathan
"Everyday Life of the North American Indian (Native American)" by Jon Manchip White
"BULLSHIT JOBS: A THEORY" by David Graeber
"Software Engineering at Google: Lessons Learned from Programming Over Time" by Titus Winters (Author), Tom Manshreck (Author), Hyrum Wright (Author)
"How to Be a Stoic: Using Ancient Philosophy to Live a Modern Life" by Massimo Pigliucci
I hope there will be even more interesting books in the year 22.
