Le vittorie dei nostri atleti alle Olimpiadi di Tokyo non devono mascherare le lacune che il nostro sport, sopratutto quello di base si porta dietro da decenni.
Intanto pero' fatemi sottolineare con immenso piacere la multietnicita' della spedizione italiana, lo sport ancora una volta e' due passi avanti rispetto alla societa' civile.
Spero che questi successi italiani arrivati da chi ha origine nei 5 continenti faccia capire ai soliti decerebrati di turno che non essitono razze ma semplicemente persone.
Mauro Berruto, ex ct della pallavolo maschile (dopo il suo esonero la nazionale non ha piu' combinato nulla di serio) e del tiro con l'arco ha sottolineato come queste vittorie devono essere il viatico per un cambio VERO nella percezione dello sport nel nostro paese.
La chiusura degli impianti sportivi luoghi che sono autentici presidi di salute, a causa dell'incapacita' di un inutile ministro, durante la pandemia sono una vergogna che ci porteremo dietro per anni.
Ora occorre che la parola SPORT entri in costituzione generando un diritto, che l'educazione fisica entri seriamente nella scuola primaria e che arrivino politiche pubbliche di sostegno alle attivita' di base che ora sono lasciate bellamente al loro destino.
Le Olimpiadi possono fare miracoli, amo sempre ricordare come Torino per le Olimpiadi invernali cambio' completamente il suo volto e che di questo cambio continuamo a beneficiarne anche oggi a lustri di distanza dall'evento.
Ora queste vittorie olimpiche siano la spinta, il motore per un reale cambiamento sopratutto nei confronti dello sport di base, abbandonato a se stesso e alla buona volonta' di allenatori, societa'e genitori da decenni.
Un ragazzo che cresce facendo sport e' un ragazzo che matura sano e con dei valori, deve poterlo fare anche se la famiglia non ha i mezzi per sostenerlo economicamente.
Lo sport deve essere POPOLARE e non elitario a beneficio dei soliti che possono pagarselo.

VICTORIES NOT TO WASTE
The victories of our athletes at the Tokyo Olympics must not mask the gaps that our sport, especially the basic one, has been carrying around for decades.
In the meantime, however, let me underline with immense pleasure the multi-ethnicity of the Italian expedition, sport is once again two steps ahead of civil society.
I hope that these Italian successes arrived from those who originate in the 5 continents make it clear to the usual decerebrates on duty that there are no races but simply people.
Mauro Berruto, former head of men's volleyball (after his dismissal the national team has not done anything serious anymore) and of archery he underlined how these victories must be the viaticum for a TRUE change in the perception of sport in our village.
The closure of sports facilities, places that are authentic health centers, due to the inability of a useless minister, during the pandemic are a shame that we will carry with us for years.
Now it is necessary for the word SPORT to enter the constitution generating a right, for physical education to seriously enter primary school and for public policies to support basic activities that are now beautifully left to their fate.
The Olympics can work miracles, I always love to remember how Turin completely changed its face for the Winter Olympics and that we continue to benefit from this change even today, decades after the event.
Now these Olympic victories are the impetus, the engine for a real change especially towards grassroots sport, left to itself and to the good will of coaches, clubs and parents for decades.
A boy who grows up doing sport is a boy who matures healthy and with values, he must be able to do it even if the family does not have the means to support him economically.
Sport must be POPULAR and not elitist for the benefit of the usual ones who can pay for it.
