This is a photo frame made using colored paper. The paper photo frame is decorated with paper flowers and leaves. The frame is also made with four pieces of paper of the same size. I also need to make a stand for the frame. Actually, it has been a long time since I made paper photo frames like this. I have made photo frames of various shapes before. The materials needed to make this are paper, scissors, glue, pencil, ruler and markers. This guide shows you how to make the paper photo frame with step-by-step pictures and instructions.
In the first step, I made the flowers. For each flower, I needed two pieces of paper of the same size. I cut them with 7.5cm long and 7.5cm wide. I folded the first piece of paper in half twice, and then folded the left and right edges to the center line. Folded those edges in half again outwards. Unfolded the two places and folded them back according to the folding lines. In the next step, I folded the edges a little bit. I moved one edge of the paper from the bottom to the other side and folded it.
When folding the next piece of paper, the first steps are the same as for the first paper folding. After folding the paper to that point, moved the right edge to the left and folded it. Folded the other edges a little bit. Folded the bottom edge as well.
Cut the yellow paper by equal lengths with 3.75cm. Folded the paper in half and folded the two sides to the middle. Folded the other side in half again. Continued cutting the top side of the middle as small pieces and folded the two edges from the bottom to the middle. Glued should also be applied in the middle of the top side. Glued this on the flower and continued gluing the remaining petal-shaped paper. Made another three flowers in the same way.
Continued making the leaves. For one leaf, cut a piece of green paper by equal lengths with 7.5cm. Folded the paper in half and folded the left and right edges to the middle. Unfolded those edges. Folded the inside edge of the paper and folded it back to the original shape. Turned it over and folded the top paper edges. I spread those areas and folded them. I also folded the other edges a little bit. Finally, cut around the leaf as shown. Made another three leaves in the same way.
For the frame, cut the paper by the same length and width with 15cm. You will need to fold four pieces of paper of the same size. Folded the paper in half twice and made a center point. Folded one corner to the center and unfolded it. Continued folding that corner as shown. Then folded the adjacent corner in the same way and folded where the two edges meet. Folded the another three in the same way.
Glued the first two folded pieces of paper together. Added the next two pieces of paper together. Cut a square of paper to fit inside the frame. Drew lines on it with markers. Placed the paper inside the frame.
For the frame stand, you need a piece of paper that is 40cm long and 21cm wide. Folded the paper in half and folded the two edges to the middle. Folded the other side as four equal parts. Folded the four corners as well. Folded the two edges to the middle again and folded one edge inwards from the other side. Glued this to the back of the photo frame.
