Today I make a beautiful and colorful paper wall decor. This one is semi-circular. It is made by gluing colorful folds of paper on semi-circular cardboard. So need to make a lot of folds of paper . Then also need a flower and leaves. They are easy to make. They are made by cutting paper. Those colorful folds of paper are also easy to make. But it takes long time because need a lot of them. I write with texts and you can see clear pictures on how to make it step by step.
Needed materials
colored paper
glue
scissors
pencil
ruler
cardboard
In the first step, I cut a piece of cardboard as semi-circle shape. Have to draw lines on it to glue the paper as shown in the picture. In the next step, I make the folds of paper . The dimensions are 21cm, 20cm, 19cm, 18cm, 17cm. I need to cut 5 different colors of pieces of paper . After cutting the pieces of paper , I glue their two edges together. Each of color is glued step by step neatly as shown on the cardboard.
After gluing all of them, cut the leaves. Cut around the edges of the leaves as shown in picture. The flower should be made of one flower. First, cut the same size of the petals. Glue them on the other paper to form a flower. Cut a blue circular paper and glue it on the flower. Glue the leaves, and decorate with that flower.This is really beautiful. But it takes long time to make. I think it's unique even though it's only made with folds of paper . I also take beautiful pictures.Thank you so much for your reading my post to the end.
