Kids are so cute, full of love, smiles and they just appear perfect.
One thing i noted as an Uncle is that, they sometimes want to solve problems between grown ups. Its funny though but sometimes it can be so emotional.
I happen to visit my brother and his family. He has two kids, a son of 5 and a daughter who 's 2.
He was not earning so much and like most middle class Nigerian families who earn a monthly salary, before the third week of the month, the money is gone. The family has to patch up till another salary pops in.
So, during my visit, i woke up one early morning and heard noises coming from the living room. My Aunt was asking my Uncle to add more to the feeding money he left on the table, which was #2000 NGN. He said he had no more money and after much arguing and voice raising, he left for work.
Now the wife was annoyed and she walked into their bedroom leaving the money on the table where my Uncle had dropped it. Some minutes later, i heard her gave a shriek in the living room and i rushed out. On getting there i saw her standing with her mouth widely opened and she was staring down at the table.when i looked at the table, i saw the money, the #2000 NGN (which was in made up of two #1000 NGN notes), turn into about 10 pieces! What the hell happened?
Now, Jimmy, her son on hearing his Mum and Dad arguing that the money was not enough, had taken the money and tore it into those many pieces. When asked why he did it, he said "Mum, now we have enough money for today, don't argue with Dad again".
Wow! What a good way to double money.
All am trying to say is, kids a cute! Parenthood is fun.
