You know those hard to remember keys you get when you create an account on Hive
How do you store them?
Do you store them on your computer?

Easy access just copy and paste right, but what happens
if you get a computer hard-crash, as in you don’t get access to your operating system.
The only way is to restore a backup or in worst case reinstall the system.
What happens if you are unlucky and get one of those ransomware viruses
encrypting all your files demanding a ransom to unlock them.
You are not guaranteed that they will be unlocked even if you pay.
What if you get a hard-disk crash or your solid state drive malfunctions?
You need to have a copy stored securely outside of your computer.
You might think ok, then I just save them in some kind of cloud service.
Well that is well and good until the cloud service have a malfunction, gets hacked
or shuts down.
You might think well I just print them on a piece of paper and store them in my house somewhere, that is well and good until the day your house gets robbed or burns down.

What should I do then you might ask.
I suggest storing it in a safety deposit box somewhere or at least in a fireproof safe,
so you will have access to it even if the worst should happen.
Have a nice day
And God bless
