Within my flesh your verse once lived,
Like strong beat of steeds, my heart gave.
Dark yet calm shone your essence,
Adoration of my pulse where souls flowed.
To many your gospel sounded so clear,
to others, swift as the seasons.
On my lips your lyric remains,
A kiss that will fly like the gentle spring rain.
April for some, cold winter's pain.
For others, the shape you take upon awakening.
Your echo resounds within like the dawn,
Awaken this heart where your verses are drawn.
