My business

My business is to understand,
That which I gave you, that which you gave me,
what we gave each other with love,
are treasures that in our souls persist,
an eternal legacy of our fervour.
Linked by invisible threads
our destinies intertwine,
and though the path is unpredictable,
together we face any plot.
My business is to love you without measure,
to reciprocate in every glance,
to share the whole of life without measure,
for in your affair I find my abode.
