I want to paint with colours
the sadness that you show in you,
to dress your body with flowers,
fill your soul with scent.
Because it hurts to look at you,
to see portraits on your skin,
like a canvas that tells people
tells stories on paper.
The grey days you carry,
the shadows that accompany you,
the tears that in your chest
like rivers are stripped away.
I will take the blue of the sky,
the gold of the light,
I will paint a smile
that will chase away your grief,
in each stroke, a breeze
that caresses your longing.
