I want to learn new things,
no matter how old I am,
is the fire of my soul,
the passion I always feel
I want to defy the murmurs
of those who doubt my walk,
to show them that in the effort,
time is no barrier to dreaming.
I know there is a world in my chest,
ideas dancing like stars,
with each lesson I embrace,
I become beautiful leaf litter.
there are no limits in my mind,
I want to learn, follow and fly.
No matter what people will say,
nor the shadows of yesterday,
in my chest burns a fire,
I am more than what they wanted to see.
