I can't find the right word
nor the verse I want to draw,
the moment of your departure,
the silence that remained after you left.
Your hand waves in the breeze,
like a whisper that wants to love,
but the echo of your laughter
is drowned in the shadow of an old home.
The hours are tangled in absences,
like a thread that the wind carries away,
and every corner holds your essence,
every glance, the glimmer of a saw.
I can't find words, there is no poetry
to cover the emptiness you left in me,
only the murmur of melancholy,
and a heart that forever shines.
