Like a fish that dies through its mouth,
You sentenced and condemned this love to shipwreck,
Because you drowned me in pain when I trusted in you.
I can no longer hold this drifting ship,
For your waves drag me mercilessly to the bottom.
I'd rather be carried away by the current,
Than sink with you in an eternal bottomless abyss.
Farewell to your storms, to your unstable harbours,
I choose to sail in calm waters, serene and lasting.
Where my soul can find the peace I've longed for,
Away from you and your storms that tormented me so much.
