Don’t let the image fool you.

Life, it’s been very busy lately.

And I’m honestly finding it hard to keep up to date (and excited) about STEEM activities as much as I used to be.

My favourite thing to do when I do have time however, is to spend one-on-one time with my 5y/o boy, drawing stuff.

He ****loves**** drawing.
We have big sheets of plain card and we go nuts with felt tip pens.
Drawing anything, covering the sheets with anything that’s interesting and unusual, often monsters - and my boy loves animals and nature.
So naturally, he suggests and draws some interesting combinations.
(pictured image was drawn by me but suggested and carefully managed by him!)

Anyway, I digress.

I’m finding it hard to keep on top of STEEM.
It seems communities has been released to the wider, errr, community and I’m curious to discover more about it and see the benefits.

Although I’m not sure when exactly I’ll have the time to do so.
Until then I’ll aim to read some articles that might explain in all in lamens terms.

As per the image, fellow filmmaker distantsignal@distantsignal has setup and invited me to join the Filmmaking community.
So I’m keen to find a moment to get involved. Cheers distantsignal@distantsignal :)

At the moment it’s either my video work or my family taking my focus.

The former has now seen me take on two dedicated days a week working for another production team who need help with their workload - so I’ve said yes to putting aside two days for them until the end of January. It’s working out well but there’s a bit of a commute.
I’ve also had some of my own clients and work being produced.
This is from my last music video shoot last week.

The latter, my family, sees me trying to steer some kind of direction to our activities and hold the fort with the house.

It’s always a mess (the house) and we need it to not be, if we are to successfully sell it in the near future.
So de-cluttering has commenced.
I’ve even sold a bunch of things on eBay..

Rollerskates, my Canon 550d DSLR camera, a cowbell, my drum kit; all sorts.
It helps clear some room and in return I get a bit of cash. It’s a win.

I’ve had my new GH5 camera over a week now and I’ve only just received the extra accessories I need to actually get it off the ground. So I’m looking forward to trying it out on a project before Christmas.

I’ve also been in talks with some folk stirring some ideas over a new STEEM promo video. I’m really keen to do a push and shoot something super slick.
That project will happen whenever it happens, but for now I’ll keep on steeming when I get the chance.

If there is movement on a STEEM promo I’ll do a specific update post.
For now you’ll have to do with spider-shark/rambling update. (sorry)
