Women's Day! Salsa Choreography 💃🏽😍🔥 [ESP-ENG]

Espero se encuentren muy bien, gente hermosa de esta comunidad! Hoy 08 de marzo se celebra el Día Internacional de la Mujer, y quiero celebrarlo con este hermoso y significativo video coreográfico realizado en conjunto con mi Profe Yessica en nuestra casa @yoysalseros. Esta coreografía está dedicada a las Mujeres, pero también a nuestra gente de la Escuela. Quise que el video fuese en Yoy, vestidas de Yoy porque la energía y concepto que quería es mostrar un poco de lo que se vive, o esa vibra que nosotras como Profes de Baile transmitimos a nuestros alumnos. Resaltando en el video nuestros principios de disfrute, familiaridad, amor y respeto hacia lo que hacemos.

I hope you are feeling great, beautiful people of this community! Today March 08 is International Women's Day, and I want to celebrate it with this beautiful and meaningful choreographic video made together with my Profe Yessica in our house @yoysalseros. This choreography is dedicated to Women, but also to our people at the School. I wanted the video to be in Yoy, dressed in Yoy because the energy and concept that I wanted is to show a little of what we live, or that vibe that we as dance teachers transmit to our students. Highlighting in the video our principles of enjoyment, familiarity, love and respect for what we do.

Esta canción la escuché la semana pasada en un video de una bailarina española que admiro, me encantó demasiado la energía y letra de la canción y de una me nació el querer hacer una coreografía con ella para el día de hoy, porque la relacioné en automático por su poderoso mensaje. A la profe también le gustó mucho, y por la brevedad de la fecha, decidimos hacer la coreo para grabarla nosotras dos, con la intención de enseñarla luego a nuestras alumnas, y hasta alargarla para posibles presentanciones, por qué no? Jajaj, en serio que nos hace vibrar y sentir muy felices este video, espero se logre percibir todo el significado que hay detrás. Desde demostrar ese sentir latino con la música, cualidades de una mujer segura, empoderada y llena de energía, hasta el disfrute, amor y pasión que dejamos expresado en cada movimiento hacia el Baile...

Todo lo quisimos bastante natural, descalzas para conectar más con esa esencia del Cubatón (fusión de Timba, Guaguancó, Salsa y Reggeaton), estilo femenino y fuerza que inspiran las cantantes. Nos disfrutamos y divertimos muchísimo en el proceso, dos días fueron suficientes para montar la coreografía y hacer el video, logrando en su totalidad crear algo que verdadeamente contagia energía, orgullo, y despierta esas ganas de bailar e interpretar tanto ese Sabor Latino! I heard this song last week in a video of a Spanish dancer that I admire, I loved the energy and lyrics of the song and I wanted to do a choreography with it for today, because I related to it automatically for its powerful message. The teacher also liked it a lot, and because of the short date, we decided to do the choreo to record it ourselves, with the intention of teaching it later to our students, and even lengthen it for possible presentations, why not? Jajaj, seriously that makes us vibrate and feel very happy this video, I hope you can perceive all the meaning behind it. From demonstrating that Latin feeling with the music, qualities of a confident, empowered and energetic woman, to the enjoyment, love and passion that we leave expressed in every movement towards the dance...

We wanted everything to be quite natural, barefoot to connect more with the essence of Cubatón (fusion of Timba, Guaguancó, Salsa and Reggeaton), feminine style and strength that inspire the singers. We enjoyed and had a lot of fun in the process, two days were enough to put together the choreography and make the video, achieving in its entirety to create something that truly spreads energy, pride, and awakens the desire to dance and interpret so much of that Sabor Latino!
