There’s nothing like having a crave for something you wish and then you finally get it, it’s just so satisfying. I had that feeling today.
It was a very hot and sunny day, after my long day at a seminar I was invited for, I decided to give myself a treat by stopping by at the ice cream shop to grab some ice cream. I have been craving it for awhile and I felt it was the best time to have one to quench my thirst and cool myself.
I ordered a ride to take me home, but my plan was to plead and ask in a polite manner for the driver to stop by at the ice cream shop. So, on getting closer to the shop I pleaded with him to stop because it was entirely a different route and wasn’t allowed but he did stopped without even hesitating and I was impressed because most times in this kind of scenario they(some drivers) always declined. On getting to the shop there was a long queue everyone wanted ice cream. I thought it was just to breeze in and out but it wasn’t. I thought about the driver, would he be complaining by now? I couldn’t leave my ice cream, I didn’t come this far. The queue was moving but not as fast as I wanted I was worried about the driver. So I went out to meet him and asked him to end the trip because I was getting bothered about him and wanted to satisfy my want and get my peace. So did and left.
I went back in to the shop and got in my spot on the queue, now it was moving fast there were more hands to assist. Then it finally got to my turn. I had plans to get my normal chocolate and banana flavor, but on getting to the point, I saw other flavors that I would love to try if I was given the opportunity to taste all. So, I went for the Sweet Cream Bailey mixed with brown coconut shavings. If you like Baileys Cream you would love this one, it tasted so much like it and taste like alcohol. I was given my order, I thought I would take it home but my mouth was beginning to get watery LOL. I changed my mind and went upstairs to look for a table. To my greatest surprise, they sell ice cream there too and it was so free, people didn’t know that there was a space there too. After all the delays and I wondered why some persons weren’t directed there. But that was past behind us.
I got a table to settle in and eat my ice cream, each table has games placed on it, with the idea that you can be eating your ice cream and at the same time playing games for fun. And that’s if you came in with your friends or a partner but I came alone and sat on a Chess table. I have no idea on how to play the Chess game and I wish to learn, all I know is that there are Kings, Queen and Knights. That’s a good start yeah? LOL. So I moved the game aside and brought in another one which I knew I could play alone.

After about 30 minutes, I gained satisfaction and left. Although am not a "too hard fan" of ice cream but it was a nice one.😊
