A monster that is a double striker, meaning it does two types of attacks in one round is a very dangerous monster. And it is necessary that you add such monsters to your deck. Because there are some special rule sets where some powers are disabled.
But if it is a double striker then you get an opportunity that if one power is disabled you can use the other one. Today I will talk about Anachron Bolter which belongs to the Fire element and it is considered one of the best monsters in terms of abilities and powers.
If I talk about its visual display it is a female character who is dressed in warrior clothing... In one hand she is holding a bow and arrow and in the other hand she is holding energy. And she wants to throw it toward the enemy.
Its main concept is that it has a bow and arrow in one hand and energy in the other hand, showing that it is a double striker. That means it is both a ranged attacker and a magic attacker which is considered a dangerous monster. Its visual appearance is very beautiful and I was greatly impressed by it.
It is an eight mana monster card which you can easily select in medium to high mana battles. It is best suitable for medium mana battles. You can also select it in low mana battles but because its mana cost is high it may become difficult for you to select other monsters.
Along with being a double striker it also has good armor and health. If I talk about its armor at Level 8, it has two armor which keeps protecting its health. The job of armor is to keep absorbing damage continuously and keep saving the health.
After the armor is finished, attacks start hitting the health. This monster card has nine health which defines its life. And the health is quite high so it can easily survive for at least two to three rounds.
It also has five speed, which increases its attack speed and the most important thing is that it keeps helping enemy attacks miss. As I mentioned it is a double striker monster card. It has two ranged power and one magic power.
In every round it attacks enemy units with a total of three damage. If an enemy monster has armor and health then the ranged attack first hits the armor while the magic power keeps hitting the health directly. This means that both the health and armor of the same monster keep decreasing in the same round.
It has two special abilities that make this monster very supportive and durable. The first ability is known as Headwinds. In Headwinds, all the enemy units have their ranged power reduced by minus one. For example, the enemy team has four ranged attackers then the power of all those four attackers is reduced by one.
Because of this it supports not only itself but also its allied units so that they receive less damage. Headwinds is a very special ability related to support units.
The second special ability is called Repair. In Repair, the armor of the allied unit that has received the most armor damage is repaired meaning its armor is restored. For example, if your adjacent unit's armor has taken heavy damage then every round its armor keeps being restored by two points up to the maximum limit.
This Repair ability also proves it to be a support monster. Since it is considered a supportive monster it is better to place it in a position where it stays safe from enemy attacks and also keeps receiving healing continuously.
Because the longer it survives in the battle the longer all allied units will keep getting full benefit from its Headwinds and Repair abilities.
If I talk about its price it is available at a very reasonable price. You can buy it for about $4 to $13 and add it to your deck. Its price fluctuation depends on the demand and its level.
Even if you find this monster card expensive you can rent it and easily add it to your deck. On a daily basis you will have to pay about 23 to 30 DEC per day as rent for this card, and you can easily use it in your battles.
