Winter is about to arrive. Only three days are left for the month of September to end and in October the proper winter season begins. I have noticed that the leaves of the trees are falling and the flowers and leaves are getting damaged which is a sign of winter. I observed this yesterday at Dam Canteen where we were sitting with our friends and the cold had increased quite a lot.
Before this we used to look for places where there were trees, good shade and flowing water. But yesterday our wish was to sit in an open field, enjoy nature and also enjoy the warmth of the sun which is a sign that winter has properly started.
Anyway for us the weather is not an excuse and cannot become a problem. We will continue our trips and outings in every season but only our plan will keep changing.
In summer we choose activities where our body can stay in a cool environment but in winter this situation changes and we try to stay in a warm environment and eat and drink warm things so that our bodies can get proper warmth.
Yesterday I made a plan with my friends to go to Dam Canteen. I planned that we would sit there, make a fire and prepare tea. We also took homemade marble cake and butter biscuits with us and we enjoyed the evening very well with our friends.
As I have mentioned before, Quetta is a mountainous area and there are very large mountains all around this city which are the beauty of the city.
Unfortunately there was no rain in Quetta during this summer which could have made the air fresh but still this city is very beautiful. The place where we live has mountains, trees and beautiful culture which makes it even more beautiful.
We made a plan to go to the dam with our friends. There were about eight of us and we went there. It was around five o'clock. We spread our mat and because all the responsibility was on me I arranged the kettle, tea, milk, sugar, cardamom, cake, biscuits and some other important things.
As soon as we reached there we made a fire and got busy preparing tea. The main interest in my picnic is also this whether it is food or drinks we prepare them ourselves there and after making them we eat or drink them hot. It has a different kind of enjoyment.
For milk tea, Karbalaiz Zulfiqar Ali (My Uncle) has a very good hand and he makes it in a very good way. (Kadak Chayi) So this responsibility was given to him. While the tea was being prepared it took about half an hour. All our friends also arrived and we remained busy chatting with each other.
After about half an hour the tea was ready and we enjoyed the beauty of the evening with pakoras, cake, biscuits and milk tea.
During this time I also took different pictures. It was random photography. What thing I got interested with I kept on making pictures. You can see the beautiful mountain behind us and we are very close to it. It looks so beautiful and amazing.
