Oh abominable chemicals,
you are nonetheless a war!
Should I hate you or should I not,
For I know that you shape me!
Yet you burn me, you sting me;
you hurt me, you wreck me
Oh abominable chemicals,
Perhaps one day you'll shatter me, you'll break me.
At the laboratory today, surrounded by flasks filled with chemicals.
