This post contains a mixed sample of all the works I've done over the past 3 years. They range from illustrations and doodles to paintings and clothing.

I'm still pretty new to #Steemit so I figured in addition to my #introducetourself post, that I should do a mini art exhibit/intro.
May my work give you a glimpse of my soul, and as I continue to refine my trade, may those who need it find benefit in my posts.
Ah-Ben...
Here ya goes! -

This was drawn from reference. Hope to one day be able to recreate it without visual aids.

The ascendedmonkey@ascendedmonkey loves her rat crystalhuman@crystalhuman. <3 this was an ani-morph portrait of my husband and I as our Chinese zodiacs. I'm a water monkey, he is a wood rat.

This one started out as a funky twist on a portrait from a reference photo and by the end it looked like a self portrait so.... Not to sure how it happened, but I like it. Done with a mix of sharpies and ballpoint pens.

Zoned out listening to an audio book and just doodled my life away. Sounds like a throwback to school and my old desk job. Ahhh to be normal again. Boring times. Not all of it... But most of it. Thank almighty bob for art! I've been saved! He's Atlantian I think, and done with ballpoint pen.

A T-shirt I painted for my niece as a birthday present, or was it Christmas? Whatever, she likes #tokyoghoul. And why not? ANIME IS LIFE! Done with acrylics & sharpies.

Was doing some rose practice in preparation for a client's tattoo...

And this is the actual tattoo design.
They ended up backing out in the end, but at least I have something I'm proud of as a result. There's a silver lining to everything if you look for it. ;) mixture of sharpies and colour pencils.

Speaking of silver lining, this is the first cloth painting I ever did. Lord Ganesha is the remover of obstacles in Hindu mythology and is often prayed to at the start of any new aspiration or goal. This piece marked my transition into life as a full time artist, a career I was too lame to pursue before.lol

He's admittedly a little rough around the edges because cloth as I found out is NOT the easiest thing to paint on. X(

They're an absolute bitch. The colours bleed and move with the water, a lot like watercolours do. What's worse is it's deceptive af, since the colours take time to bleed so you don't see the clusterfucks till it's too late.

I used acrylics for both this and my second painting in the series.

If you want to see the second cloth painting I did,

Till next time,
Later gators!
PEACE!
