THE CAFE BY THE MOUNTAINS
Does location actually make the food taste better? I don’t know but the pansit canton and vegetable crackers taste so much better in Chosen Café.
So, after our short stopover in Valencia Sulfur Vents, we went straight to Chosen Café. It’s also part of Valencia and it was a bumpy road going to the cafe but the view? Yes, the view was amazing! If you have lived in the city for so long, you’ll eyes will be so grateful to see so much greenery!
The group was gushing when we arrived at the cafe. The location is 10/10. It was so perfect! It’s simple but will give anyone peace of mind and so much gratefulness to be able to see the scenery. The cafe has 2 huts and both have 2 stories so you can have a better view of the mountains, the sky, and the clouds.
When we went, it was partly gloomy but still, it didn’t disappoint us. We ordered food. You will have to order in their main house/store. They offer typical Filipino plates. They have instant noodles, canned goods, rice, iced tea, and some snacks. Though the food was a no-brainer and simple, it tasted so good because we were facing such a beautiful view. We enjoyed watching the dogs running around, the clouds moving, the carabao enjoying and munching the grass.
There is so much beauty in this place. If I were to ask, of all the places we went this is definitely my favorite. I would love to live there, make a farm, adopt dogs, and practice yoga by the grassland. Though the clouds were a bit dark, you can still see the mountains surrounding the area.
If you plan to visit Negros soon, I highly recommend this place. Just don't expect too much with the food but the view will definitely compensate for everything! Do you have any recommended places with beautiful views? Let me know in the comments, maybe we could visit it soon.
