For many years I have embarked on the artist's journey, delving into the different paths that "art" comprises, in particular what is referred to as drawing and painting. as artists we always seek to perfect our skills, practicing again and again every day things like lines, shapes, perspectives, composition, light among thousands of other aspects and each of these aspects are so important to shape the different illustrations that we want do, particularly to the skin.
At first, drawing a face, hands, arms, legs or any part of the body seems easy and certainly if one follows certain guidelines and with a lot of practice it will be to a certain point, but one of the most difficult things is to give a good tonality and believable depth by combining colors to give the sensation of real skin in front of the viewer's eye.
Regardless of the type of method you use, traditional or digital, or the materials you have (watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc.) an understanding of what you want to paint is always essential to achieve an extraordinary result.
Desde hace muchos a帽os emprend铆 el viaje del artista adentr谩ndome en los distintos caminos que el "arte" comprende, en particular a lo que se refiere como dibujo y pintura. como artistas siempre buscamos perfeccionar nuestras habilidades, practicando una y otra vez todos los d铆as cosas como l铆neas, formas, perspectivas, composici贸n, luz entre miles de aspectos m谩s y cada uno de esos aspectos son tan importantes para dar forma a las distintas ilustraciones que deseamos hacer, en particular a la piel.
En un principio el dibujar un rostro, manos, brazos, piernas o cualquier parte del cuerpos parece f谩cil y ciertamente si uno sigue ciertas gu铆as y con mucha practica lo ser谩 hasta cierto punto, pero unas de las cosas m谩s dif铆ciles es dar una buena tonalidad y profundidad cre铆ble para al combinar colores dar la sensaci贸n de piel real frente al ojo del espectador.
Sin importar el tipo de m茅todo que uses, tradicional o digital, o los materiales que poseas (acuarela, 贸leo, acr铆lico, etc.) una comprensi贸n de lo que deseas pintar siempre es esencial para alcanzar un resultado extraordinario.

To address the issue of the skin, I need to create a good posture that allows me to show many depths, for this, with the help of some references, I drew a sketch that I refined until I got a well-detailed brush, then I used different airbrushes to give darkness to the deeper areas of the skin that naturally form.
Para abordar el tema sobre la piel necesito crear una buena postura que me permita mostrar muchas profundidades, para esto con la ayuda de algunas referencias dibuje un boceto al que fui refinando hasta conseguir un bujo bien detallado, luego us茅 distintos aer贸grafos para ir dando oscuridad a las zonas m谩s profundas de la piel que naturalmente se forman.
Now after having some detailed areas I begin to incorporate some tones with soft colors, a little very light pink accompanied by flashes of orange and in this way I follow the lines of the sketch to give color to the entire image.
Ahora luego de tener ya algunas zonas detalladas empiezo a incorporar algunos tonos con colores suaves, un poco de rosa muy claro acompa帽ado de destellos de anaranjados y de esta forma sigo las l铆neas del boceto para ir dando color a toda la imagen.
I start adding darker tones using different shades of brown as well as reddish colors and I also take the opportunity to give more details to the nose and eye areas.
Empiezo a agregar tonos m谩s oscuros usando distintas tonalidades de marrones como tambi茅n de colores rojizos y tambi茅n aprovecho para dar m谩s detalles a las zonas de la nariz y los ojos.
At this point I already have the different shades of the skin well defined and I begin to give more color to the lips, the eyes and I begin to shape the hair so that it complements the entire illustration, some dark tones to contrast with the clarity of the skin keeping the focus on the shadows and highlights.
En este punto ya tengo bien definida las distintas tonalidades de la piel y empiezo a dar m谩s color a los labios, los ojos y empiezo a dar forma al cabello para que complemente a toda la ilustraci贸n, unos tonos oscuros para contrastar con la claridad de la piel manteniendo el foco en las sombras y luces.
