Hello everyone, it is a pleasure to greet you again, today I want to talk to you about my passion for animals that I discovered from a very early age, I was always surprised by the various forms that life can take, forms such as that of a bird, a dog , an elephant among many others and as an artist it was always natural for me to want to draw and paint them all, an animal that I have always liked a lot is the "cat" loved by many and by others not so much, even so I think that every artist You will have drawn a cat once in your life, so for this occasion I wanted to draw a cute kitten, I hope you like it.
Hola a todos es un placer volver a saludarlos, el día de hoy quiero hablarles de mi pasión por los animales que desde muy temprana edad descubrí, siempre me sorprendían las diversas formas que la vida puede tomar, formas como la de un ave, un perro, un elefante entre muchas otras y como artista era natural para mí siempre el querer dibujarlos y pintarlos a todos, un animal que siempre me ha gustado mucho es el "gato" amado por muchos y por otros no tanto, aun así creo que todo artista habrá dibujado un gato alguna vez en su vida, así que para esta ocasión quise dibujar a un tierno gatito, espero les guste.
I started the process imagining a cat in a vase and incorporating a flower, after having the concept already in my mind, I transferred it to the canvas with a very rudimentary but effective sketch that allowed me to visualize what I wanted to capture.
Inicie el proceso imaginando a un gato en un florero e incorporando una flor, luego de tener el concepto ya en mi mente lo traslade al lienzo con un boceto muy rudimentario pero eficaz que me permitió visualizar lo que quería plasmar.
Then I proceeded to apply the base colors of my painting, I opted for a light color for the kitten and yellow for the flower since it would be a sunflower, I also painted some petals on the ground to fill the space.
Luego procedí a aplicar los colores bases de mi pintura, opte por un color claro para el gatito y amarillo para la flor ya que sería un girasol, también pinte unos pétalos en el suelo para llenar el espacio.
Once I had the base colors of my illustration, I proceeded to detail the sunflower with darker colors, always taking into account the projection of light.
Una vez ya teniendo los colores base de mi ilustración procedí a dar detalle al girasol con colores más oscuros, siempre teniendo en cuenta la proyección de luz.
Having already worked on the sunflower, I focus on doing the same with the cat, I apply lines of darker colors and blur them with the watercolor brush, I apply this method several times alternating between light and dark colors for the fur as well as for the eyes , I also add red and black to give greater contrast and finally I apply a layer of shadows to the entire drawing.
Ya habiendo trabajado el girasol me centro en hacer lo mismo con el gato, aplico líneas de colores más oscuros y la difumino con el pincel de acuarela, aplico este método varias veces alternando entre colores tanto claros como oscuros para el pelaje como también para los ojos, también añado rojo y negro para dar mayor contraste y por ultimo aplico una capa de sombras a todo el dibujo.
And with this we have finished our kitten in a vase, I have to confess that this illustration has been one of my favorites and I loved doing it, I hope you liked it as much as I did, until next time! bye bye!
