If you are reading this post then chances are that you are very well aware of Cryptocurrencies and the Scams that come up with Cryptocurrencies as well. Saving yourself from such Scamsters and Hackers are pretty important and to do so you need to have proper knowledge about the methods Scammers and Hackers Use to gain access to your Cryptocurrencies. So let's dot down some points which will help you to stay clear of these Scammers and Hackers.
Strong Password
It's a no brainer that you need to have a strong password for any and all things Money Related when it comes to being Online. Yes I know creating different strong passwords for all websites is pretty tough but I have done it for myself and I am pretty sure there is a way for everyone to create strong passwords for their Safety.
2FA
Two factor Authentication is another security measure that you should keep at your side as even if you have a very strong password there is a chance of hackers getting into your account provided they have the necessary motivation so using a 2FA gives you that extra level of security that everybody needs.
Phishing Links
Phishing Links are the most common way Scammers gain access to your accounts and usually scammers just send phising links via messages or email. To be safe from such links always avoid opening links directly from email I'd that you don't know about.
Try not to leave any details about your main email I'd or phone number anywhere. For example I have a main E-mail and a secondary e-mail which I use for the not so secure websites so that I don't give out my main email I'd everywhere.
Hardware Wallets
Try to invest in a Hardware Wallet as when you keep your funds in an Hardware Wallet it is off the Internet and frankly speaking in this age of Internet that is the most secure you can get with your Cryptocurrencies. I have personally yet to buy a Hardware Wallet but I am looking forward to buy one in a couple of months and just put all my long term holdings into the Hardware Wallet.
