Today is the first time I got this news that India is in Advanced Negotiations with the US to procure Predator Armed Drones which is a big deal for our Defense Security in India. I know that the Narendra Modi-led government is very much doing their work in the Defense Sector but the reason why this potential deal comes as a surprise to me is that ever since the Russia - Ukraine War there has been a lot of tension between India and the US and things weren't looking so good.
The Long Range of Drones are been procured for Maritime Surveillance, Anti Submarine Warfare as well as Over Air Targeting. This is by no means a piece of low-grade equipment so this really baffles me that the US is in Negotiations with India. India has managed to stay Neutral with as many Countries as it can and I feel like part of the reason the US is willing to go through with this Deal is that there is a looming threat from China over the Taiwanese Border and we all know that if China decided to declare War on Taiwan US is most likely to intervene and then it is going to be a Game of TIME where the advantage goes to the people who place their Warships ahead of time.
So this is going to be a Major event in India if they are able to acquire these Drones as the world knows that India is slowly but surely moving forward toward a Military Supreme Country and the days are not far when India truly becomes a Force to be reckoned with.
