Fairy Tail is one of the very first Anime that I have ever watched and the Anime is basically about a guy who is searching for his Father who is basically a Dragon since the Anime is based on a Fantasy Landscape it has Magic and Fantasy in it with flying Cats and what not. I absolutely loved watching this Anime as in this Anime there is a close reference to FAMILY and COMRADRY which I am a huge sucker for. If that was not enough the Music this ANime has is one of the classics and even to date whenever I hear the Fairy Tail OST Tune I still get shivers. Yes, I have to say this Anime has Tunes that are kind of evergreen for me and I hope almost all of us here have watched this Anime, and if not I would seriously recommend you to catch this Anime.
The only thing that is a little annoying is the fillers that every Long Anime has but still, 328 Episodes are not that much compared to other Anime like Dragon Ball Z and One Piece. So go ahead and give it a watch and I hope you won't be disappointed at all.
It is also being teased that a new Fairy Tail-themed Anime will be released next year but I am not sure how good that will be considering it is supposed to be the Next Generation of Fairy Tail. I just hope it is not like Boruto is to Naruto.
