^^Hello everyone, I'm posting my old cartoons that I drew when I was living in AU :)
Today's cartoon is "Koreans studying crazy ".
How was your childhood at school? How was the education system in your country?
S. Korea is one of the hardest studying countries, many students are spending lots of times at school to study. Studying hard is good. However, on the other side, Uniformed Korean education system is the cause that missing the chance to find what is each student's talent and dreams.
In my case, I was always drawing and dreaming about being an artist or designer while I was studying at school.
My value was very low at my school because I have a low score in math. The teachers believed that I'm stupid and my future will be dark and poor. Because I wasn't the ideal person who match with the scoring system, who has very good at creative things, not logical things.
It is very hard to make a decision yourself that "what to do for your future goal" especially when you are teen, I was just lucky that I had a strong ego and believed myself to be designer & artist wherever others think.
I hope Korean education system improved, so young generation will have more chances to find what they are good at.
