A trip to the Old Biscuit Mill Factory in Cape Town South Africa, was quite intriguing.
The Old Mill was established in the 1900's in a suburb of Cape Town called Woodstock.
The Mill was formerly an Old Biscuit Mill Factory, now home to dynamic office space, designer stores and restaurants.
The entrance walls are decorated with graffiti and can be seen quite a distance down the road on walls of businesses all over Woodstock.
When entering the building, one is met with the aroma of mixed cuisines coming from the different decadent Restaurants.
I was told that there is quite a mystery to the structure of the building, although the base was built in the late 1900's, it has never been found and remains a mystery,
What fascinated me, is the way in which it's kept it's warm industrial style.
Some memories of the past displayed proudly around the Mill.
Reminding us of a once rich industry of biscuit making.
Walking through the place, makes one feel as if one is stepping back in time, it's truly a fascinating place to visit.
I wonder how many wishes were made through the years at this beautiful old wishing well.
One can find anything from Art to Food in this amazing place.
This shop called "Leather Wise" has the most amazing leather boots and shoes, all designer made.
Studio Isobel Sippel is an extremely impressive place, one could find any thing from soaps to air fresheners to the most beautiful cotton hand painted décor.
The aroma of the different natural essential oils and air-fresheners, is quite an amazing experience.

One could find the most beautiful items to decorate one's home in this awesome shop.
We stopped by Buns Bakery for coffee.
So much to choose from, not very good for the hips though Lol!

Our purchase for the morning, coffee and doughnuts.
Restaurants are plentiful, catering for everyone's needs.
People strolling through to their favorite places to chat and just chill.
To early for the pub. Amazing home brewed beer is served later in the day.
Redemption Restaurant
I love the way they've decorated their interior, taking one back to the 50's era.
Hubby wanted a beer, the owner of Redemption, kindly allowed me to bring my coffee I bought from "Buns Bakery" into her Restaurant while hubby drank his beer. I thought that was very noble of her.
We continued to explore the building, so we climbed the stairway to the second floor, where we found some interesting offices.
We were told that on a Saturday and Sunday the place buzzes with one of the biggest neighborhood Markets in Cape Town, bringing local artists and artisans together to display their creations, which is set up in the parking area of the building.
Parking area, I can just imagine what it must be like, with all the colorful stalls set up.
Next time I visit Cape Town, I'm definitely not going to miss that one.
