Beautifully Deceiving

This picture was taken in the South Downs National Park, Sussex.

It was a gorgeous, warm summer day. However, it's a whole different story in winter, as you can tell from the shape of this tree.

The wind often howls across the top of the Downs with no shelter, so it's not a place you'll find me walking at this time of year.
